"World Skydiving Day was an overwhelming success in bringing together thousands of skydivers and enthusiasts from around the world", reported APF CEO Stephen Porter. "The successful collaboration between the United States Parachute Association (USPA) Canadian Sports Parachute Association (CSPA), British Skydiving and the APF in coordinating the day has truly achieved its goals. By bringing together the worldwide skydiving community, sharing their passion for the sport, raising the profile of the sport, and setting a world record for the most skydives completed in a single day, we have demonstrated the unity and enthusiasm within the skydiving community and inspired others to learn about and participate in this exhilarating sport."

"To all the members who participated in and supported World Skydiving Day, I would like to thank you for your efforts. Additionally, thanks also to the drops zone staff and CIs. From this success we will donate $2,726 to the Royal Flying Doctor Service, a great organisation worthy of our support and a further demonstration of our community giving back."
